Wide Range of Applications from Consumer Home Repair to SOMERVILLE, Mass.-October 22, 2010 — Walleye Technologies today announced release of the first video demonstration of its next-generation millimeter wave imager. The imager is capable of "seeing" into and through solid objects and presenting the image on an LCD screen and can be readily displayed, stored, analyzed, and transmitted. The Walleye Imager is a battery-powered handheld device that uses invisible wavelengths to see into and through objects. "The imager has been in an extensive development program and we are now able to release the initial videos demonstrating the imager in a typical wall setting. Due to heightened interest in the imager we wanted to show the imager in action. In the coming months we intend to continue releasing additional information on the imager's capabilities as we move closer to production and market introduction," says Robert Sengstaken, Vice President of Engineering at Walleye Technologies. Earlier this month Walleye gave a live demonstration at the Renesas developers' conference in Garden Grove, California. The imager, which incorporates Renesas technology, was a crowd favorite at the conference.
